The Beginning After the End : Episode 16

Having defeated countless enemies, obtaining wealth, fame, and everything else imaginable, the most powerful king, Grey, abruptly dies one day. He then awakens suddenly, having reincarnated in a world where magic exists. He is given the name Arthur, and begins living a second life, with loving parents.

The Leywin family travels to the floating city of Xyrus so that Arthur can begin his formal education in magic. The adventuring party that Reynolds and Alice belong to, the Twin Horns, accompany them as guards, when they run into something unexpected...

During the battle with the bandits, Arthur falls off of a cliff. When he awakens he encounters a mysterious beast, clad in armor. Her name is Sylvia. She helps Arthur, and seems to know where his family is, but who is she really...?

Having parted ways with Sylvia, Arthur hears a girl's scream in the woods. Upon rushing to the voice, he encounters an elf girl named Tessia, who has been captured by slavers. With Sylvia's words to "seek light in his new life" ringing in his ears, Arthur decides to challenge them by himself.

Arthur arrives in the Elenoir Kingdom with Tessia, before being arrested by elvish soldiers who harbor deep resentment toward humans. Things are looking tense until Elenoir's former ruler, Virion, has him released. Arthur is then invited to the kingdom's castle. But the pain in his mana core seems to be getting worse...

After being informed of a way to let Reynolds and Alice know about his survival, Arthur joins Virion and they head to a witch's house. Using special sorcery, he is able to see his parents. Witnessing the depth of their grief, Arthur decides that he will train under Virion to protect those he cares about, and to control the dangerous power growing within him.

It's been three years after Arthur began his training in the Kingdom of Elenoir, having worked alongside Tessia as they both grew stronger. Arthur enlists Virion's help in order to awaken the beast that slumbers within his mana core. Then, one night, the stone Sylvia gave him begins to shine…

Having arrived in the city of Xyrus, Arthur is thrilled to meet his younger sister, Eleanor, and to reunite with his parents. While sparring with Reynolds, he demonstrates how much he has grown. After witnessing Arthur's strength, Vincent Helstea proposes that the reborn king enroll in Xyrus Academy, a prestigious sorcery school.

Vincent and his wife Tabitha are hoping to enroll their daughter, Lilia, in Xyrus Academy. And while Lilia hopes to live up to her parents’ expectations, she has yet to awaken her mana. In the meantime, Arthur runs into a group of the academy’s students while shopping in town.

The Helstea Auction, which even the royals of the Sapin Kingdom attend, is opened. Vincent invites Arthur to the auction house. While among valuables on offer, Arthur discovers Sylvie has gone missing, and that she’s attracted the attention of a court sorcerer in the service of the Sapin Royal family!

Having arrived at Xyrus Academy, Arthur displays his skills to the school’s director, Cynthia, who proves to be every bit as formidable as her position as the head of the prestigious magic academy suggests. Despite being overwhelmed, Arthur still shows his power and the two strike a deal...

Donning a mask and taking up the alter-ego of Note, Arthur arrives at the guild to begin service as an adventurer. He has new encounters meeting Elijah, a young boy with ties to dwarven royalty, and Lucas, a half-elf member of the Sapin royal family. Afterwards, Arthur and Jasmine leave on their first adventure together. In order to protect those he cares for, the king seeks even greater power.

Arthur has been adventuring with Jasmine under the alias of Note, and they have a dangerous encounter.

Tessia has a mission to promote harmony between the races as an adventurer, and things aren't going smoothly.

Arthur, Elijah, and Lucas find themselves on a deserted island, so they try to find a way back home.

Arthur and Jasmine are recruited for a dungeon raid that ends up being more dangerous than it seemed.

In the lowest level of the dungeon, Arthur and his party have a horrifying encounter.

An unexpected ability helps Elijah save Arthur's life, as they try to find a way out of the dungeon.

Note faces an inquiry at the Guild, while Lucas schemes to avoid responsibility for his betrayal.

Having returned home with Elijah, Arthur prepares for school at the academy and bids Jasmine farewell.

Arthur seeks a gift to give Eleanor for her birthday, and has an interesting encounter as a result.

It's Eleanor's birthday, and Arthur has a special gift for his little sister.

Before enrolling in Xyrus Academy, Arthur faces the person responsible for his disastrous dungeon raid.
